Worth noting: Hotels throughout Southeast Asia generally limit you to no more than three people per room. Families will often need to try to get adjoining rooms, which can be both expensive and unpredictable. An alternative available in most major cities and tourist destinations is the serviced apartment. Serviced apartments offer a wider range of room types than hotels, but often have most of the other services you expect from a hotel.
