Ibis Solo
September 2011
The Ibis, along with its sister property the Novotel right next door, are probably the most well-sited hotels in Solo for tourists. The hotel is right in the middle of town, and you can walk to most of the city's tourist sights, as well as shops and restaurants.
I had one of the standard rooms. It was on the small side, but very well laid out. Internet access was freely available through a wired connection in the room. Breakfast was served in the coffee shop off the hotel lobby. There wasn't a lot of choice, but most everything was well done.
Hotel facilities include a restaurant, bar, pool, meeting room and spa.
Rooms feature air conditioning, hot and cold water, color television (several channels), IDD telephones, hair dryer and free wired Internet access.
Pluses: Very efficient room layout with all the modern conveniences; excellent location in Solo.
Minuses: None, really
